In early 2025, TUNBEE secured the furniture and soft furnishing supply contract for the Nanxun International Convention Center Hotel Project in Zhejiang Province, which includes both a Marriott and a Fairfield hotel under one development. This landmark project, with a total investment of 33.6 billion RMB, features a 180-meter tower with a total floor area of 257,800 square meters. The scope of TUNBEE’s supply covered 500 guest rooms across both hotel brands, plus public areas including the lobby, restaurants, meeting facilities, a sky garden and an infinity rooftop pool.
The project presented several significant challenges. With the hotels scheduled to open for the regional tourism season, the furniture delivery timeline was compressed to just 50 days from order confirmation to installation completion. TUNBEE mobilized multiple manufacturing partners across Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces, coordinating production schedules to ensure that all 500 rooms’ worth of furniture—beds, wardrobes, desks, chairs, sofas, nightstands and decorative pieces—were manufactured, quality-inspected and delivered in sequence.
A key requirement was the integration of regional cultural elements into the furniture design. The Nanxun project sought to blend modern luxury with the cultural heritage of the Jiangnan water town region. TUNBEE worked closely with the project’s interior design team to produce custom furniture pieces incorporating traditional Jiangnan design motifs—screens, wood carvings and ink painting-inspired decorative elements—while maintaining the contemporary aesthetic expected of the Marriott and Fairfield brands.
The project also required the installation of smart room systems across all guest rooms. TUNBEE supplied and integrated RCU (Room Control Unit) smart hotel systems, enabling centralized management of lighting, temperature, audiovisual equipment and curtain controls. These systems significantly improved operational efficiency and guest experience, allowing the hotels to offer personalized room settings through automated controls.
The furniture and soft furnishing installation was completed in March 2025, meeting the project’s tight deadline. The successful delivery of this high-profile project has strengthened TUNBEE’s reputation in the hospitality sector, demonstrating the company’s capability to handle large-scale, time-sensitive hotel projects with complex design requirements and smart technology integration.
