In November 2025, TUNBEE was awarded the furniture supply contract for the Shilihong Hotel project in Yichang, Hubei Province, a prestigious hospitality development located in the city’s Dianjun District. The contract, valued at 13.99 million RMB, covered the supply and installation of all furniture for the hotel’s 5# building, encompassing both public areas and guest rooms.
The scope of work was comprehensive and technically demanding. TUNBEE was responsible for supplying four main categories of furniture: wood-based items including beds, nightstands, decorative cabinets and wardrobes; stone-based items including dining table tops, coffee table surfaces and decorative platforms; upholstered items including sofas, armchairs and dining chairs; and glass-based items including decorative shelving and display units.
Each piece required secondary custom design and fabrication based on the project’s design brief. TUNBEE’s design team worked with the hotel’s interior designers to produce detailed shop drawings for each furniture category, ensuring that every piece met the project’s aesthetic and functional specifications before production commenced. This included custom finishes, fabric selections and hardware specifications tailored to the hotel’s design theme.
Quality standards for the project were exceptionally high. The contract required all furniture to be brand new and meet national and industry standards for quality and safety. TUNBEE implemented a multi-stage quality control process: raw material inspections at factory partners’ facilities, in-process quality checks during production, pre-delivery inspections at the factory, and final inspections upon arrival at the project site.
Logistics coordination was another critical aspect. The project site in Yichang’s Dianjun District required careful planning for transportation and installation access. TUNBEE managed the entire logistics chain from factory loading to on-site delivery, including secondary transportation within the project site. The installation team worked around the hotel’s construction schedule to ensure minimal disruption to other trades.
The project was delivered within the 50-day contractual timeframe, with all furniture installed and ready for the hotel’s soft opening. The client commended TUNBEE for the quality of the furniture, the professionalism of the installation team, and the seamless coordination across multiple furniture categories and suppliers.
