In mid-2024, TUNBEE was selected as the sole supplier of interior fit-out materials and office furniture for a 35,000-square-meter high-end office complex in Foshan’s central business district. The project, developed by a leading Guangdong commercial real estate group, comprised 24 floors of premium office space with a targeted completion of 60 days for the initial four-floor fit-out.
TUNBEE’s scope of supply was extensive. For the interior fit-out, the company supplied over 8,000 square meters of polished porcelain tiles and natural stone flooring, 4,500 square meters of acoustic ceiling panels, 3,200 square meters of glass partitioning systems, and a full range of sanitary ware for the building’s washroom facilities. For the office furniture component, TUNBEE supplied 1,200 workstations with ergonomic chairs, 50 executive office suites with custom-designed desks and storage, 12 meeting rooms with conference tables and AV furniture, and over 200 pieces of breakout area and lobby furniture.
One of the key requirements was the integration of the building’s smart office systems. The furniture needed to accommodate integrated power and data cabling, with workstations designed for cable management and easy access to power outlets and network ports. TUNBEE worked with the building’s IT consultants to ensure that all furniture was compatible with the office’s smart building infrastructure.
Quality control was particularly rigorous for this project, as the building was targeting LEED Gold certification. All materials had to meet strict environmental and sustainability standards, including low-VOC emissions, recycled content requirements and responsible sourcing certifications. TUNBEE sourced all materials from certified suppliers and maintained full chain-of-custody documentation for every product delivered to the site.
The installation schedule was tight and required careful coordination with other trades working on the building. TUNBEE deployed multiple installation teams to work across different floors simultaneously, with deliveries sequenced to match the construction progress on each floor. The company also provided on-site project management to coordinate with the general contractor and resolve any issues promptly.
The project was completed on schedule, with all materials and furniture installed within the 60-day timeframe. The developer praised TUNBEE’s project management capabilities and the consistent quality of materials across all four floors. The building is now fully leased to a mix of multinational corporations and leading Chinese enterprises, with the fit-out quality cited as a key factor in tenant attraction.
